Dr. Kreider spoke at the International Society of Nutraceuticals and Functional Food about the neuroprotective effects of creatine, citicoline, and omega-3 fatty acids.  These nutrients have been reported to enhance cognitive function and lessen the severity of mild and traumatic brain injury (TBI), cerebral ischemia/stroke, and/or spinal cord injury.  Together, they may serve as a preventive and/or therapeutic nutritional strategy to reduce the severity and/or enhance recovery of sports related concussion, TBI, and/or spinal cord injury.  Click here to see this presentation.
